Healthwatch – give us your views

Local Healthwatch provides a strong and independent public voice and is the primary public champion for both local health and social care systems. From 1 April 2025 North Northamptonshire Council will commission its own Healthwatch, separate from Healthwatch Northamptonshire which will no longer exist. We want to know what you think about these services in North Northamptonshire to help us shape a more local Healthwatch service, just for the people living within North Northamptonshire, that will improve the quality of the health and social care provision.

Climate change framework and climate change attitudes and behaviours

Residents are being asked to have their say on the Council’s draft climate change framework. The draft framework will be used to inform the Council’s Climate Change Strategy, and outlines the council’s vision, approach, and key areas of focus to address the effects of climate change over the next six-years. The framework identifies six key areas of focus that climate change could impact in North Northamptonshire: Transport, Homes and the Built Environment, Nature, Food and Farming, Energy, Green Economy and Waste.

Running parallel to this consultation is another survey which asks people for more general views on their attitudes and behaviours on climate change. Responses from this survey will also be used to help shape the strategy.
