Welcome to Broughton Parish Council.
We hope that you will be able to use this website to find out about not just us, but about Broughton and everything associated with the village.
Our Parish Councillors are actively involved in the community and are available for you to contact them with any issue.
We are very proud of Broughton and everything that it has to offer but we are always looking at ways to improve and to make Broughton an even better place for us all to enjoy.
Please follow our meetings, agendas and minutes for updates on very many aspects of the village that are covered each month - it's not just what happens at the monthly meetings as Broughton Parish Councillors are also very active in many forums beyond Broughton in their promotion and support of the village and residents.
This website is an evolving project - we will update and alter depending on what is or, becomes important to Broughton. If you would like to add to the content or signpost an association, event or activity please do contact us as we are only too happy to help promote Broughton.
If you spot a problem with the website, please let us know!

Important message from Broughton Parish Council to residents
The Police Liaison Representative or the Street Watch volunteer are not a replacement for 101 or Crimestoppers.
On several occasions, reports or complaints from residents regarding speeding, witnessed account of offences or general intel has been received by the representative and volunteer that should have been reported to the police directly. This is not the appropriate channel to pass on information.
Any matter that requires police action must be reported by the witness or person who has the relevant intel.
The Support volunteers main role is to patrol the local area and report any suspicious activity they have witnessed themselves and point the victim in the right direction to report online.
Street Watch does not have the means to log an incident to the police control room database so please report directly to 101.
If you’ve witnessed antisocial behaviour, please report it to the police. Reports are dealt with by a control room in exactly the same way whether you report it online or call 101.
