Phase 2 - Pocket Park pond commencing 27th October
Broughton Parish Council
Pocket Park Pond Update
Earlier this month, the parish council advised that phase 2 of the pocket park pond regeneration would be taking place soon.
Works will commence tomorrow, Wednesday 27th October 2021.
Works will include removal of silt from the pond and a new habitat for wildlife will be created with it. The path at the front of the pond will be widened and a dipping platform will be built and extend out over the water. The pond perimeter will be sculptured to make a good shape and the banks will be planted up in spring.
Work is likely to take 2 weeks during which time there will be restricted access to the spinney, especially whilst the digger is on site so thank you for bearing with us at this time.
